Before you apply for financial aid to receive a Roverchase Foundation service dog, there’s a couple things you should know.
Please note that our current waiting list is very dependent on the type of dog needed by the applicant. Typically wait times for Roverchase service dogs are between 12-24 months. Some will wait a shorter period of time, while others will wait longer.
Be certain the recipient has been approved to receive a service dog from one of The Roverchase Foundation’s approved providers.
Download and fill out the application and medical paperwork.
Await your follow-up email or phone call for the interview process.
After completing your application packet and interview process Roverchase will then determine whether you are an accepted applicant. Once you are accepted, your matching process begins. Matching is a lengthy process and requires the applicant to study materials provided by the trainer and be available for training classes and lessons. This process allows us to get to know you more fully and for us to work with you and our dogs on training, skills, and emotional bonding. If all goes well during the matching process, you will then be approved to receive a Roverchase Service Dog.
